Job summary

Alchemy Business Services Ltd. in Dubai seeks a Senior Geologist with extensive oil industry field experience to lead operations geology activities on wellsites. You will supervise mud logging, oversee LWD and wireline logging, and coordinate with service companies for planning, logistics and QC.

The role requires a Bachelor in Geology or Earth Science and 8+ years of field experience, with strong knowledge of Middle East petroleum geology. Geosteering in carbonate reservoirs is advantageous.

Qualifications

• Bachelor in Geology or Earth Science or equivalent required.
• 8+ years in geology field within oil industry required.
• Experience in wellsite operations (wellsite geologist, mud logger or similar).
• Supervision of mud logging, LWD and wireline logging preferred.

Responsibilities

• Plan and coordinate well prognosis and logging programs with service companies.
• Prepare geological reports on drilling/workover operations.
• Geosteering experience and Middle East carbonate reservoir knowledge are advantageous.

Job description

Candidates with a Bachelor Of science in Geology, Earth Science or similar with more than 8 year’s experience in geology field of oil industry as an operation geologist, wellsite geologist, mud logger or similar. Experience of wellsite operations is required

Good knowledge of petroleum geology of Middle East and operations geology including supervision of mud logging, LWD and wireline logging is required

Work within an integrated team and prepare well prognosis and logging programsand coordinate with service companies for planning, logistics and QC as required.

Prepare geological reports on drilling/workover such as geological completionreports

Geosteering experience andwork experience in the Middle east Carbonate reservoir are preferable
