Job Description

As a Wellness & KidzHub Attendant, you will support the day-to-day activities of the hotel’s health club and kids’ area. You’ll assist with fitness center upkeep, help guests with basic wellness needs, and create fun, safe, and engaging experiences for children. This is a hands-on, energetic role ideal for someone who enjoys working with both adults and kids in a hospitality environment.

  1. You will be responsible for overseeing the day-to-day operations of the health club and fitness centre.
  2. Maintaining equipment, providing exceptional customer service, and ensuring a safe and welcoming environment for all guests.
  3. You will work closely with health club members and other Heartists to deliver a high-quality fitness experience.
  4. Greet members, answer inquiries, and provide information on health club services and offerings.
  5. Maintain a friendly, welcoming, and professional atmosphere for all members and guests.
  6. Manage member registrations, memberships, and renewals.
  7. Track attendance, monitor usage of health club services, and report trends to management.
  8. Assist with budgeting, inventory, and ordering equipment or supplies for the fitness centre.
  9. Address member concerns or feedback promptly and professionally.
  10. Ensure the cleanliness and organization of the health club, including fitness equipment, changing rooms, and common areas.
  11. Monitor the condition of fitness equipment and schedule regular maintenance or repairs as needed.
  12. Ensure the facility complies with all health, safety, and sanitation standards.
  13. Schedule shifts and ensure adequate coverage for health club operations.
  14. Manage and oversee the daily operations of kids’ club programs and activities.
  15. Create engaging activities, ensuring the safety and well-being of all children and guests, and fostering a positive and fun environment for families.
  16. Work closely with guests, Heartists, and management to ensure the highest level of service and satisfaction.
Qualifications
  • High school diploma or vocational training in hospitality, childcare, fitness, or recreation.
  • Prior experience (internship, volunteer, or part-time) in a hotel, kids club, daycare, or gym is a plus.
  • CPR and basic First Aid certification.
  • Friendly, energetic, and service-oriented personality.
  • Enjoys working with children and guests of all ages.
  • Good communication and teamwork skills.
  • Basic knowledge of health, wellness, and safety practices.
  • Creative and enthusiastic, especially when leading kids’ activities.
  • Flexible with schedule – available for weekends and holidays.
