Job summary

Rixos Hotels in Ras Al Khaimah is seeking a Wellness Instructor to lead group fitness classes, deliver personalized sessions, and create a safe, engaging exercise environment for guests.

You will develop wellness programs including cardio, strength, yoga and functional training, and may provide guidance on nutrition and lifestyle to improve guest wellbeing. Flexibility to work rotating shifts and a strong commitment to hygiene and guest satisfaction are required.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent is required.
• Degree in sports science, physical education, or related field is preferred.
• Current certification in group fitness instruction from a recognized organization (e.g., ACE, NASM, ACSM, AFAA) is required.
• Must hold a current CPR/AED certification.
• Flexible to work rotating shifts, weekends and public holidays.

Responsibilities

• Develop and conduct wellness programs, including fitness classes, workshops and one-on-one coaching sessions.
• Lead and motivate individuals or groups in cardiovascular, strength, stretching, Yoga and functional training activities.
• Provide guidance on nutrition, lifestyle changes and stress management to improve guest well-being.
• Establish schedules and methods for wellness services; identify resource needs.
• Participate in setting goals and policies; recommend changes to existing standards, policies and procedures.
• Ensure implementation of approved policies; monitor activities for compliance.
• Identify guest needs and suggest appropriate wellness programs.
• Prepare periodic reports and maintain records.
• Ensure fitness areas and equipment are clean, safe and well maintained.
