A leading welding company in Dubai is seeking a Welding Leadman to lead and supervise a team of welders. Qualifications

Job description
Job Title: Welding Leadman
Location: Dubai
Experience: 3 Years
Salary: Depends Upon Experience

Main Responsibilities:

  • Lead and supervise a team of welders in the of welding tasks and projects.
  • Ensure that all welding operations are performed in accordance with company standards client specifications and safety regulations.
  • Oversee the preparation fitting and welding of materials ensuring highquality work.
  • Provide onsite guidance and training to junior welders ensuring their skills meet required standards.
  • Review welding blueprints drawings and other project specifications to ensure accurate and efficient work.
  • Monitor work progress and adjust schedules and workloads as necessary to meet project deadlines.
  • Inspect completed welds to ensure compliance with welding codes and standards (e.g. ASME AWS).
  • Report any issues related to welding including material defects safety concerns and quality problems.
  • Coordinate with engineers project managers and other departments to ensure welding tasks are completed on time and within budget.
  • Maintain welding equipment and tools ensuring they are in good working condition.

Essential Qualifications:

  • High School Diploma or equivalent; certification in welding or related technical field is preferred.
  • Minimum of 3 years of experience in welding with at least 12 years in a supervisory or leadership role.
  • Certification in welding (e.g. AWS CWI CSWIP) is preferred.
  • Indepth knowledge of various welding techniques materials and welding codes.
  • Experience working in industries such as oil & gas construction or manufacturing.

Skills Required:

  • Strong leadership and supervisory skills with the ability to manage and motivate a team of welders.
  • Expertise in welding techniques including MIG TIG Stick and others.
  • Familiarity with welding codes and standards (e.g. ASME AWS API).
  • Strong problemsolving skills and attention to detail to ensure the quality and safety of welding operations.
  • Excellent communication skills for coordinating with team members and other departments.
  • Ability to read and interpret welding blueprints and technical drawings.
  • Strong organizational skills to manage work schedules and material requirements.
  • Ability to work in a fastpaced environment and handle multiple tasks efficiently.
