Welder vacancy in Sharjah UAE

We are seeking an experienced Welder to join our team in Sharjah. The successful candidate will be responsible for joining, fabricating and repairing metal parts and structures with welding techniques. This position offers a competitive salary of 1100 AED.

The ideal candidate should have a high school diploma or GED and experience in welding, soldering, brazing and other joining techniques. A valid certification from the American Welding Society (AWS) is highly preferred. In addition, the candidate should demonstrate sound judgment and problem solving abilities and be able to work independently as well as part of a team.

Responsibilities include:

• Read blueprints and drawings accurately to determine layout requirements
• Set up welds using torches, plasma arc cutting equipment or other welding equipment
• Operate manual or semi-automatic welding equipment to fuse metal segments together
• Monitor the fitting, burning and welding processes to avoid overheating of parts or warping, shrinking, distortion or expansion of materials
• Repair machinery and other components by welding pieces and filling gaps
• Inspect completed work for conformance to specifications using measuring instruments such as rulers or calipers
