Job summary

Welder job vacancy in Sharjah UAE

We are looking for a Welder to join our team in Sharjah. The successful candidate will be responsible for welding metal components using manual and semi-automatic welding equipment, as well as interpreting engineering drawings and specifications.

Key Responsibilities:

• Read blueprints or technical diagrams to properly identify the material required for the job
• Set up and operates welding equipment in order to weld parts together
• Monitor the fitting, burning, and welding processes to avoid overheating of parts or warping, shrinking, distortion, or expansion of material
• Maintain a clean and safe working environment
• Perform routine maintenance on welding equipment
• Adhere to all company safety policies and procedures
• Follow standards set by the American Welding Society (AWS)

Qualifications:

• High school diploma or equivalent qualification
• Previous experience with semi-automatic welding equipment is preferred but not essential
• Proven ability to interpret engineering drawings and specifications accurately
• Knowledge of various welding processes such as MIG/MAG, TIG, arc welding etc. is beneficial but not mandatory
• Ability to work independently with minimal supervision

Salary: AED 1400 per month + benefits. We are ready to consider foreign nationals for this position.
