Job summary

Star Services LLC seeks an experienced offshore welder for regular offshore platform work in Abu Dhabi. The role requires 3–5 years of pipe welding experience (CS/SS/Inconel) in Oil & Gas, with ASME IX welder qualifications and a 2-year technical background. Offshore site duties include welding, inspection, and maintenance with strict safety adherence.

Offshore travel with full board and single status accommodation is provided; travel and medical coverage follow UAE Labour Law standards.

Responsibilities

• Prepare list of materials and tools for offshore work.
• Perform vessel and tanks overhauling activities.
• Inspect, report leaks and maintain equipment to company standards.

• Complete maintenance per plan and standards.
• Attend toolbox meetings and follow HSE guidelines.

Qualification (minimum)

3-5 years of relevant practical experience in CS/SS/ Inconel pipe spook welding preferably in Oil and Gas Sector

Job Description & Responsibilities

• Prepare list of materials and tools required for offshore work.
• Vessel & tanks overhauling activities to be performed.
• Assist in routine inspection, report leakages carry out maintenance as instructed and ensure that equipment and used tools are in appropriate condition to ensure functionality, reliability and efficiency in line with company set standards.
• Perform the site field weld activities of existing facilities with appropriate safety measures in offshore platform sites.
• Timely completion of maintenance activities as per set standards and maintenance plan.
• Assist in fabrication and welding inspection activities and coordinate with various selections related to the jobs.
• Attend to breakdowns and effect corrective actions, ensuring adherence to procedures & guidelines to reduce downtime and maximize functionality of equipment.
• Carry out welder qualification tests, making welding procedures applicable to the appropriate materials and requirements and prepare list of materials and tools for carrying out the welding, testing and installation activities.
• Follow all relevant operational procedures and instructions so that work is carries out in a controlled and consistent manner.
• Attend toolbox meeting to discuss maintenance priorities and carry out instructions on routine tasks in order to facilitate timely completion of tasks as per given instruction &HSE standards.
• Knowledge of all relevant welding plants and equipment.
