Job summary

Star wrought iron is seeking an experienced welder to interpret blueprints and assemble metal structures with precision. You will perform MIG, TIG and stick welding on various metals, conduct inspections for weld quality, and set up welding equipment with careful parameter adjustments for efficiency and safety.

The ideal candidate has at least 3 years in fabrication, a high school diploma or GED, vocational welding training, and AWS certification or equivalent.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED; vocational welding training preferred.
• AWS certification or equivalent is essential.
• Minimum of 3 years of relevant work experience in fabrication/manufacturing.
• Proficient in MIG, TIG, and stick welding for various metals.
