Job Title: Welder

Business: Emirates Gas

Job Purpose: Fabrication of Piping system and Pipe spool by Electric Arc Welding of Steel and fusion welding HDPE pipes for central gas system/Grinding & Cutting.

Principal Accountabilities:

1. Laying, preparing ends, fit-up and welding works of steel pipes and structures.
2. Execute weld joint without flaws to pass NDT examination like DPT/Radiography/hydrotest.
3. Ensure safe and proper handling of all company tools like Welding machine/Grinding Machine/Welding electrodes, etc under his custody.
4. Submit and undergo Welder Qualification procedure as often as required.
5. Assist the team in Grinding/rigging works as and when required.
6. Works as per the EMGAS EHS policy, guidelines and requirements.

Additional Principal Accountabilities:

1. High school Certificate is preferred.
2. Minimum 3 years of Welding experience required.
3. Welder certification is required.
4. Preferred to be 6G welding certified by Third Party Inspection Agency.
5. Good communications skills.
6. Basic English language skills.
