Summary of Role:

The Web Developer at Afnan Perfumes will be responsible for the end-to-end development and maintenance of our e-commerce platforms, including Shopify, WordPress, and Amazon-related integrations. This full-stack role is critical in ensuring that all our websites across multiple brands to run smoothly, remain technically robust, and are seamlessly integrated with backend systems such as ERP and CRM.

Working independently and based in our Ajman office, the ideal candidate should bring strong technical acumen in Shopify and WordPress environments, along with a practical understanding of e-commerce performance, page speed optimization, and backend reliability.

Key Responsibilities:

• Lead and manage full-stack development across 20+ brand and e-commerce websites (Shopify, WordPress).
• Ensure seamless API integrations with backend systems such as ERP and CRM (SAP or equivalent).
• Maintain site security, apply bug fixes, and manage ongoing technical upkeep including speed and performance enhancements.
• Implement and optimize e-commerce best practices across platforms to ensure smooth checkout and front-end performance.
• Monitor and ensure all websites are fully functional, with proper loading speeds and no technical errors.
• Collaborate with in-house designers to implement front-end elements based on visual brand guidelines.
• Ensure uptime, error-free functionality, and backend stability across all sites.

Skills & Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Web Development, or related field.
• Minimum 4 years of professional experience in full-stack web development.
• Proven expertise in Shopify development is mandatory.
• Proficient in HTML, CSS, and coding languages relevant to Shopify and WordPress.
• Experience with ERP, CRM, analytics, and payment gateway integrations.
• Strong understanding of web performance metrics, SEO basics, and website speed optimization.
• Highly detail-oriented, with the ability to manage multiple platforms independently.
• Previous e-commerce experience in a retail environment is essential.
