Abu Dhabi Islamic Bank, a leading Sharia-compliant financial institution, seeks a Manager, Governance & Control – Wealth Management to ensure regulatory alignment and strong control environments within WM. You will lead cross-functional efforts with Compliance, Shariah, ORM, CPR and BORM to embed risk-aware practices across WM operations.

The role focuses on proactive risk mitigation, governance reporting, and driving digitalization of controls.

Qualifications

• Understanding of regulatory requirements (CBUAE, SCA) and internal controls.
• Experience implementing governance and control frameworks.
• Ability to conduct regulatory gap analyses and compliance reviews.

Responsabilités

• Design and maintain controls to ensure WM compliance with regulatory requirements.
• Lead dissemination of regulatory requirements across WM with Compliance, Governance, HR, and Frontline.
• Act as the WM liaison with Compliance, Shariah, ORM, CPR, and BORM.
• Conduct regulatory gap analyses and drive process updates.
• Oversee closure of internal and external audit actions.
• Prepare governance and control reporting to Senior Management.
• Ensure timely compliance with internal control requirements and coach WM Middle Office.
• Monitor WM operations to identify risks and control gaps.
• Coordinate regulatory engagement with CBUAE, SCA and regulators.
• Support Internal Audit reviews and product compliance.
• Assist new product launches to meet regulatory requirements.
• Drive digitalization and automation across WM governance, controls, and reporting.
• Resolve escalated WM issues and management actions.
• Maintain RCSA, KRIs, MIS reporting and ad-hoc assignments.
