Waterjet Operator

• Operate waterjet cutting machines with precision, ensuring safety and accuracy.
• Set and adjust machine parameters according to the material type and thickness.
• Perform machine calibration, including offset adjustments for accurate cuts.
• Monitor machines during operation to identify and resolve malfunctions or tolerance deviations.
• Replace consumables such as nozzles and abrasives as needed to maintain machine efficiency.
• Create and modify cutting programs using AutoCAD or other 2D-CAD software.
• Conduct regular visual inspections to ensure output quality meets required standards.
• Collaborate with production teams and supervisors to meet daily production targets.
• Maintain workplace safety, cleanliness, and organization in line with company policies.

Desired Candidate Profile

• Education: High School Diploma or a Certificate in CNC Operations.
• Experience: Minimum 1–2 years of hands-on experience operating waterjet cutting machines. Mandatory experience with cutting composites, metal, and marble. Experience with plasma or laser cutting and cutting software programming is an added advantage.
• Technical Skills: Strong understanding of waterjet machine operations and maintenance. Proficient in reading technical drawings and interpreting CAD files. Knowledge of AutoCAD or similar 2D-CAD tools. Ability to set, adjust, and optimize machine parameters.
• Soft Skills: Good mechanical aptitude and strong math skills. Strong analytical and troubleshooting abilities. Effective communicator with the ability to work within a multicultural team. High attention to detail and strong adherence to safety protocols.
