Qualifications

• Strong troubleshooting skills for mechanical, electrical, and process issues in water systems.
• Field service experience with on-site installation, commissioning, and client support.
• Clear, professional communication with clients, colleagues, and vendors.
• Technical support ability to interpret documentation and collaborate with engineering teams.
• Maintenance and repair skills for routine servicing and optimization of treatment equipment.
• Diploma or degree in Mechanical, Chemical, Environmental, or Electrical Engineering preferred.
• Knowledge of water and wastewater treatment processes and dosing equipment is advantageous.
• Valid driver’s license and Gulf-region work experience are a plus.

Role Description

The Water Treatment Service Engineer is a full-time, on-site role based in Dubai, United Arab Emirates. The role involves installing, commissioning, and servicing water and wastewater treatment equipment at customer sites, ensuring systems operate safely, efficiently, and in line with technical specifications. Day-to-day tasks include diagnosing equipment issues, performing preventive and corrective maintenance, and providing technical support to clients and internal teams. The engineer will prepare service reports, maintain accurate records of work performed, and coordinate with the operations and laboratory teams to support water quality testing and compliance. The role also includes communicating with customers to explain findings, recommend improvements, and support long-term system reliability.

Qualifications

• Candidates should possess strong Troubleshooting skills for identifying and resolving mechanical, electrical, and process-related issues in water treatment systems.
• Candidates should possess Field Service experience, including on-site installation, commissioning, and customer support for industrial or environmental equipment.
• Candidates should possess clear and professional Communication skills to interact with clients, colleagues, and vendors, and to document service activities.
• Candidates should possess Technical Support capabilities to guide users, interpret technical documentation, and collaborate with engineering and laboratory teams.
• Candidates should possess Maintenance & Repair skills for performing routine servicing, repairs, and performance optimization of treatment systems and related components.
• Relevant qualifications such as a diploma or degree in Mechanical, Chemical, Environmental, or Electrical Engineering (or related field) are preferred.
• Knowledge of water and wastewater treatment processes, pumps, filtration systems, and chemical dosing equipment is highly beneficial.
• Ability to work safely on industrial sites, follow HSE procedures, and manage time effectively in a field-based role.
• Previous experience in the Gulf region or similar environments and a valid driver's license are advantageous.
