Job Summary

The Site Manager is responsible for the overall planning, execution, supervision and successful delivery of water treatment and infrastructure projects. The role involves managing site operations, coordinating resources, ensuring compliance with technical, quality and safety standards, and maintaining effective communication with clients, consultants, subcontractors and internal teams. The Site Manager is accountable for project performance, workforce management and achieving project objectives within schedule and budget.

Key Responsibilities

• Manage and supervise all site activities related to the installation, fabrication, welding, testing and commissioning of water treatment systems and associated infrastructure.
• Plan, organize and control project execution to ensure timely completion and compliance with project specifications.
• Lead site teams, subcontractors and suppliers to achieve project milestones and maintain productivity.
• Review project drawings, specifications, method statements and technical documents to ensure compliance with client requirements and applicable regulations.
• Coordinate with procurement, logistics and warehouse teams to ensure timely availability of materials, equipment and manpower.
• Monitor project schedules, progress and resource utilization and take corrective actions when required.
• Conduct regular site meetings with clients, consultants, subcontractors and internal stakeholders.
• Ensure strict compliance with Quality Management System (QMS), Health, Safety & Environment (HSE) and ISO requirements.
• Identify project risks and implement mitigation measures to minimize delays and cost overruns.
• Manage inspections, testing activities, authority approvals and project handover documentation.
• Review and approve daily, weekly and monthly progress reports submitted by site engineers and supervisors.
• Support project cost control, budgeting, variation management and claims documentation.
• Ensure compliance with UAE labor laws, company policies and contractual obligations.
• Resolve technical and operational challenges to maintain project continuity and customer satisfaction.
• Conduct site surveys and provide recommendations for design improvements, value engineering and operational efficiency.

Qualifications

• Strong knowledge of fabrication and welding processes (TIG, ARC), piping systems and mechanical installations.
• Familiarity with SS316L, Duplex 2205, HDPE, PVC and other industrial piping materials.
• Sound understanding of ASME, ASTM, ISO and UAE regulatory standards.
• Proficient in AutoCAD, MS Project, Primavera and engineering documentation.
• Strong leadership, team management, negotiation and decision‑making skills.
• Excellent communication and stakeholder management abilities.
• Successful completion of projects within approved schedule and budget.
