The Job

Diagnosis and repair of automatic watches according to set quality standards. Conduct the required tests using watch testing equipment.

Job Description

Handling watch repairs in the Quick Repair Centers attached to boutiques in prominent malls.

Understanding customer needs and effectively communicating regarding watch repairs.

  • Diagnosing the exact cause of faults in watches and identifying parts to be replaced.
  • Servicing and repairing movements, cases, and other appearance parts.
  • Lubricating and assembling movement parts.
  • Regulating automatic and mechanical movements.
  • Checking watches using equipment such as ‘Witschi’ and ‘Proof master water resistance checking machine’.
  • Replacing watch batteries and carrying out complete service if necessary.
  • Maintaining regular tools such as tweezers, screwdrivers, etc.
  • Invoicing repair costs in the system.

Profile

Should have a certificate from a watchmaking institute or a secondary school certificate.

Minimum 5 years of experience in repairing and servicing mechanical and quartz watches.

Experience with brands such as Omega, Longines, Rado, Tissot, or similar brands is advantageous.

Prefer candidates who have worked in authorized service centers of Swiss watch brands with experience in complete servicing of mechanical and quartz watches.

Good communication skills and well-groomed appearance.

Proficient in written and verbal English communication.

Basic computer skills required.
