Job Purpose

To maintain a controlled and accurate stock replenishment process and to supervise the material issuance process to ensure that stock items are consistently replenished and are readily available to users at all times and to ensure materials required by users are issued efficiently and timely.
To be responsible for losses and damage and to take adequate precautions to ensure inventory value is safeguarded.

Principal Accountabilities
  • 1)Replenishment Process
    Process, print and review reorder reports, forwarding to the maintenance and system managers and, in coordination with the user departments, review minimum and maximum levels.
    Make necessary amendments and process material requisitions before forwarding requests to purchasing.
  • 2)Special or Urgent Requisitions
    Ensure the required information and special/urgent requisitions are processed and forwarded to purchasing in an efficient and timely manner 10 ensure that (he. material required for shutdowns or special/urgent events are made available.
  • 3)Inventory Control
    Monitor the inventory control pro ram in order to confirm the accuracy and completeness of data records and to assist in identifying and resolving anomalies.
  • 4)Units of Measure
    Maintain units of measure of all warehoused materials to ensure accuracy of inventory receipts and issues, in line with user requirements.
  • 5)Asset Disposal
    Process asset disposal requests ensuring that material is in the custody of the warehouse prior to authorization for disposal.
  • 6)Material Returns Process
    Supervise the process for repaired material or material no longer required by user departments so that these are returned to the warehouse stock for future re-use.
Additional Principal Accountabilities
  • 7)Perpetual Inventory
    Supervise the perpetual inventory process (stock counts) to ensure that material on hand matches records and resolve any variances, making adjustments as required.
  • 8)Material Issuance
    Process material requisitions and pick lists promptly to satisfy user department requests thus avoiding delays in maintenance or operations activities.
  • 9)Supervision of Subordinates
    Organize and supervise the activities and work of a small team of subordinates to ensure that all work within the inventory and issues section is carried out in a efficient and procedurally compliant manner.
  • 10)Policies, Systems, Processes, and Procedures
    Recommend changes to, implement approved departmental policies, processes, procedures and instructions to subordinates and monitor their adherence so that work is carried out in a controlled manner.
  • 11)Continuous Improvement
    Contribute to the identification of opportunities for continuous improvement of warehouse systems, processes and practices taking into account 'international best practice', improvement of business processes, cost reduction and productivity improvement.
  • 12)Reports
    Prepare relevant reports timely and accurately to meet company and department requirements, policies and standards.
  • 13) Safety, Quality, and Environment
    Ensure that all relevant safety, quality and environmental procedures, instructions and controls are adhered to so that the safety of employees, quality of products/services and environmental compliance can be guaranteed.
Cyber Information Security Responsibilities

Comply with all applicable information security policies, standards, and procedures.
Classify and protect information assets in accordance with the Data Classification Standard.
Participate in mandatory information security awareness and training programs.
Support information security initiatives and activities within the organization.
Consider information security requirements when managing changes involving information assets.
Report security incidents, vulnerabilities, weaknesses, or non-compliance in accordance with established procedures.
Fulfil role-specific information security responsibilities and contribute to maintaining the effectiveness of the Information Security Management System (ISMS).

Experience

Minimum Requirements

Minimum Qualifications:

  • Technical diploma in a related field

Minimum Experience:

  • 5-7 years in warehousing
  • Oil and gas and/or petrochemical industry experience
