Job Summary:

The Warehouse and Store Manager oversees daily operations of the warehouse and stores, including receipt, storage, inventory control, and dispatch of raw materials, finished goods, and consumables. The role ensures efficient inventory management, safety compliance, and team supervision to support the supply chain.

Key Responsibilities:

  1. Warehouse Operations: Supervise receiving, storing, and dispatching goods; ensure timely loading/unloading; maintain FIFO/FEFO systems; optimize warehouse space; manage 4-5 warehouses.
  2. Inventory Management: Maintain accurate stock records via ERP or manual systems; conduct cycle counts and audits; resolve discrepancies; minimize damage, obsolescence, pilferage.
  3. Store Management: Oversee issuance of raw materials and consumables; maintain documentation; ensure traceability.
  4. Team Management: Manage, train, evaluate personnel; schedule shifts; enforce discipline and productivity.
  5. Compliance & Safety: Adhere to safety policies and legal requirements; maintain cleanliness; conduct safety drills.
  6. Reporting & Coordination: Prepare stock and movement reports; coordinate with procurement, production, quality, logistics; escalate issues promptly.

Qualifications & Skills:

  • Education: Bachelor’s in Logistics, Supply Chain, Business Administration, or related.
  • Experience: 8+ years in warehouse/store management, with 5+ years in a managerial role, preferably in manufacturing or industrial sectors.
