Job Description

The Warehouse Keeper performs routine duties assigned by the immediate supervisor, including:

  1. Answering telephones, routing calls, taking messages, and providing general information.
  2. Greeting and directing visitors.
  3. Answering routine inquiries and maintaining a log of inquiries as required.
  4. Opening and routing incoming mail; distributing correspondence and other materials to concerned departments or staff.
  5. Performing routine typing assignments, operating a personal computer, drafting basic correspondence, entering data, and printing letters, labels, reports, and other materials.
  6. Photocopying or duplicating materials as requested and overseeing daily operations of photocopy machines; transmitting faxes for the unit.
  7. Maintaining and updating files, records, and other documents.
  8. Managing and taking care of barcode stickers.
  9. Ordering, stocking, and distributing office supplies.
  10. Adhering to all information security policies and procedures of the University.
  11. Performing other duties as assigned.

Minimum Qualifications

  • Secondary Education Certificate or Diploma.
  • 1-3 years of relevant experience.

Preferred Qualifications

  • English speaking course.
  • Good communication skills.
  • Basic computer skills.
  • Interpersonal skills.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office suite.
  • Knowledge of English language.
