Warehouse Assistant (Metal or Insulation Materials)

We are seeking a detail-oriented and disciplined Inventory & Warehouse Coordinator with a background in manufacturing or trading (preferably in metal or insulation materials). The ideal candidate will be responsible for managing warehousing operations, inventory control, goods movement (inward/outward), and material planning.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Accurately manage inventory and perform regular stock counts; investigate and reconcile discrepancies.
  • Analyze inventory trends and coordinate with procurement to plan stock replenishment.
  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date inventory records and generate monthly closing stock reports.
  • Prepare and update shipment tracking for all incoming and outgoing goods.
  • Generate Goods Received Notes (GRNs) and maintain material receipt records.
  • Coordinate with the logistics team for timely and accurate dispatch and distribution of goods.
  • Optimize warehouse space through efficient layout planning and operational best practices.
  • Conduct quality inspections for incoming materials and report any non-conformance to relevant departments.

Requirements:

  • Minimum 3 years of experience in inventory/warehouse management within a manufacturing or trading company (preferably metal or insulation materials).
  • Bachelor’s degree or diploma in Engineering, Supply Chain, or related field.
  • Strong attention to detail, organizational skills, and ability to work independently.
  • Excellent record-keeping and reporting skills.
  • Knowledge of warehouse management systems and inventory software is an advantage.
