Job Summary
We are seeking a disciplined and detail-oriented Warehouse & Inventory Controller with a strong background in manufacturing or trading (especially in metals or insulation materials). The successful candidate will be responsible for managing all aspects of inventory control, stock reconciliation, material planning, and warehouse operations, ensuring accuracy, accountability, and efficiency in goods movement and documentation.
Key Responsibilities
- Inventory Management: Accurately manage inventory and stock count activities. Investigate and resolve inventory discrepancies promptly. Analyze inventory trends to forecast needs and maintain optimal stock levels. Maintain up-to-date and accurate inventory records in the system.
- Stock Reporting: Prepare and submit monthly stock reconciliation and closing inventory reports. Generate and maintain material receipt documentation and Goods Received Notes (GRN). Prepare shipment tracking records for both incoming and outgoing goods.
- Warehouse Operations: Ensure proper storage, labeling, and handling of goods. Assist in the timely and accurate dispatch of goods in coordination with the logistics team. Optimize warehouse layout and space utilization through operational improvements.
- Quality Control: Conduct inspections of incoming materials to ensure they meet required standards. Immediately report any non-conformance or quality issues to the relevant department.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree or diploma in Engineering, Supply Chain Management, Logistics, or a related field.
- Minimum 3 years of experience in a manufacturing or trading company, preferably dealing with metals, insulation materials, or similar products.
- Proven experience in inventory management, material planning, and warehouse operations.
- High attention to detail, accuracy, and organizational skills.
- Familiarity with ERP systems or inventory management software.
- Proficient in Microsoft Excel and reporting tools.
