Job summary

IIQAF Group in Dubai is seeking an organized Warehouse Assistant to support daily warehouse and inventory operations within our hospitality business. The role includes receiving, checking, storing, picking, packing and distributing food supplies, beverages, kitchen supplies, and other hospitality inventory.

The ideal candidate is reliable, physically fit, and able to work independently or in a team, with flexibility to work shifts as required in a fast-paced hospitality setting.

Qualifications

• Previous experience as a Warehouse Assistant, Warehouse Associate, Storekeeper, Warehouse Worker, Inventory Assistant, Stock Clerk, Store Assistant, or Material Handler is preferred.
• Experience in hospitality, hotels, restaurants, catering, food and beverage, retail, or FMCG environments is highly desirable.
• Physically fit and able to lift, move, and handle warehouse materials safely.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a warehouse or operations team.
• Strong organizational, communication, and time management skills.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced hospitality environment.
• Willingness to work flexible shifts, weekends, evenings, and public holidays when required.

Responsibilities

• Assist with daily warehouse operations, inventory control, and stock management.
• Receive incoming goods, supplies, equipment, food items, beverages, and other hospitality materials.
• Check deliveries against purchase orders, delivery notes, quantities, and product specifications.
• Inspect received goods for damage, quality, quantity, and expiration dates where applicable.
• Safely unload, move, organize, and store materials and supplies in designated warehouse locations.
• Label, categorize, and arrange inventory to ensure easy identification and retrieval.
• Assist with inventory rotation to minimize product wastage and maintain product quality.
• Assist with loading and unloading delivery vehicles when required.
• Operate basic warehouse equipment and material handling tools safely.
• Follow company procedures for stock control, storage, handling, health, safety, and hygiene.
• Support regular warehouse audits and assist in resolving inventory discrepancies.
• Maintain proper documentation for stock movements, transfers, returns, and deliveries.
