Job Description

1.0 Job Purpose

Handle the tasks of preparing orders, receiving goods, and maintaining a clean and safe warehouse environment.

2.0 Job Dimensions

3.0 Principal Accountabilities:

1. Efficiently prepare orders for delivery by picking, packing, wrapping, and weighing the goods.
2. Receive and inspect all incoming goods, reconcile with purchase proforma, and report damages and discrepancies.
3. Perform belt and rail cutting adhering to standards.
4. Label new goods and ensure they are stored in proper locations.
5. Conduct physical inventory counts, report shortages or excess.
6. Optimize warehouse space and utilization.
7. Load and unload goods using authorized machinery: Forklift, Self-Picker, Picker, Reach Truck.
8. Drive authorized vehicles to carry out duties efficiently.
9. Perform regular security checks indoors and outdoors.
10. Train new workers upon their joining.
11. Maintain a clean and safe working environment.
12. Support team members, handle emergencies, and adapt to task rotations to ensure workflow continuity.
13. Follow quality service standards and comply with all procedures, rules, and regulations.
14. Perform other duties as assigned by the manager.

Required Qualifications:

• Previous experience in a warehouse or logistics environment is a plus.
• Good physical stamina and ability to lift heavy objects.
• Basic understanding of warehouse safety procedures.
• Strong teamwork and communication skills.
• Ability to follow instructions carefully.
• Basic proficiency in English and Hindi.
• Willingness to work in a fast-paced environment.

Job Type:

• Working hours: Monday to Saturday, 8:00 AM to 6:00 PM, with a one-hour lunch break.
• Location: Jebel Ali Free Zone, Dubai, UAE.
