Responsibilities

• Review of project technical specifications, drawings, and BOQ to identify quality and engineering criteria for materials, workmanship and testing requirements.
• Performs verification inspection of E&I works to assure compliance with procedures and project requirements.
• Participates in on site receiving inspection of Coating & Painting materials.
• Prepare, review of concrete specification, mix design and ITPs.
• Coating & Painting Testing Standards, Onshore & Offshore Construction (O&G) Inspections.

Job description

• Review of project technical specifications, drawings, and BOQ to identify and determine quality and engineering criteria for materials, workmanship and testing requirements related to Coating & Painting works.

• Performs verification inspection of work elements related to E&I works, to assure compliance with established procedures and Project’s specified requirements.

• Participates in on site receiving Inspection of Coating & Painting materials.

• Prepare, review of concrete specification, mix design and ITPs.

• Coating & Painting Testing Standards, Onshore & Offshore Construction (O&G) Inspections

Desired Candidate Profile

• Degree/Diploma in Mechanical Engineering from a recognized/reputed University.
• Minimum 10 yrs. of experience as Coating & Painting QC Inspector in the Oil & Gas industry
• Familiar with Shell DEP’s and international codes & standards
• NACE Level II or CSWIP / BGAS Grade 2
• Fluency in English
• Previous experience working with ADNOC project is preferred.
• Computer literacy, proficient in computer skills including use of MS Office
