Job description

Apt Resources is looking for an enthusiastic Waitress to join the team at a luxurious Hotel. As a Waitress, you will be responsible for providing excellent customer service and ensuring a memorable dining experience for your guests. With your friendly and positive attitude, you will uphold the image and standards of the Hotel and strengthen guest loyalty. This role is perfect for someone who enjoys working in a dynamic and challenging environment, has excellent communication skills, and a passion for hospitality.

Responsibilities

• Greet guests warmly and escort them to their tables
• Present menus, provide information on daily specials and make recommendations
• Take and serve food / drink orders accurately and promptly
• Ensure that guests are satisfied with their meals and handle complaints tactfully
• Manage cash and credit card payments and maintain accurate records
• Clear and set tables and ensure that the dining area is clean and tidy
• Assist with food preparation and ensure that food safety guidelines are followed

Requirements

• Proven experience as a Waitress or similar role in the hospitality industry
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Attentive to detail and able to multitask in a fast-paced environment
• Ability to work flexible hours, including evenings, weekends and holidays
• Familiarity with POS systems and basic math skills
• Fluent in English, knowledge of other languages is a plus
• A friendly and positive attitude with a passion for hospitality
