Unity Star Import and Export FZE LLC is seeking a friendly Waiter/Waitress to join our dining team in Dubai. You will welcome guests, take orders, and deliver attentive service from seating to payment, ensuring guest satisfaction throughout the dining experience.

The ideal candidate will have good English communication skills, a positive attitude, and the ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced restaurant environment.

• Basic conversational English required; other languages are a plus.

Responsibilities

• Welcome and greet guests in a friendly and professional manner.
• Escort customers to their tables when required.
• Present menus and inform guests about food, beverages and specials.
• Take orders accurately and enter them into the POS system.
• Serve food and beverages promptly and professionally.
• Ensure orders are correct before serving and maintain presentation.
• Address guest questions and accommodate reasonable requests.
• Check on guests during meals to ensure satisfaction.
• Coordinate with kitchen and bar staff on orders and special requests.
• Prepare tables before service and reset them after customers leave.
• Maintain cleanliness of tables, dining areas and service stations.
• Process bills and payments when required.
• Handle concerns politely and escalate serious issues to the supervisor.
• Follow hygiene, cleanliness and safety procedures.
• Assist with opening and closing duties.
• Maintain knowledge of menu items and promotions.
• Support colleagues during busy service periods.
• Perform other duties as assigned by the Restaurant Supervisor or Manager.

Requirements

• High school education or equivalent is preferred.
• Previous experience as a Waiter, Waitress, Server, or similar hospitality role is an advantage.
• Freshers with a positive attitude and willingness to learn may also be considered.
• Good English communication skills.
• Additional languages are an advantage.
• Friendly and professional approach to customer service.
• Ability to stand and walk for extended periods.
• Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment.
• Good personal hygiene and professional presentation.
• Willingness to work shifts, weekends, and public holidays when required.
• UAE hospitality experience is an advantage but not mandatory.
