Job Description

The responsibilities include:

  1. Taking food and beverage orders from guests using order taking pads.
  2. Accepting payments, issuing receipts, and returning change.
  3. Performing basic cleaning tasks as directed by supervisors or managers.
  4. Filling in for absent staff across F&B areas within the hotel.
  5. Entering orders on the POS machine and noting any special guest requirements.
  6. Communicating with guests and assisting with their queries.
  7. Working as part of a team to complete all tasks efficiently.
  8. Monitoring guest satisfaction with food and service.
  9. Responding promptly to guest requests.
  10. Maintaining proper dining experiences, including delivering food, refilling utensils, and offering desserts and drinks.
  11. Properly opening and pouring wine at the table.
  12. Adhering to grooming and appearance standards.
  13. Understanding and communicating the products and services offered by the hotel.
  14. Assisting in other restaurant areas such as answering phones and handling financial transactions.
  15. Printing closing reports and managing cash drops with the Front Office.
  16. Tallying credit card settlements and closing shifts on POS terminals.
  17. Following hygiene and HACCP standards and SOPs.
  18. Performing other assigned tasks.
Requirements
  • Excellent communication skills in English, both written and verbal.
  • Trustworthy with attention to detail and high accuracy.
  • Proactive, energetic, and positive attitude.
  • Ability to multi-task and prioritize effectively.
  • Knowledge of the outlet's products/items.
  • Proficiency in Micros system.
