Job Description
The responsibilities include:
- Taking food and beverage orders from guests using order taking pads.
- Accepting payments, issuing receipts, and returning change.
- Performing basic cleaning tasks as directed by supervisors or managers.
- Filling in for absent staff across F&B areas within the hotel.
- Entering orders on the POS machine and noting any special guest requirements.
- Communicating with guests and assisting with their queries.
- Working as part of a team to complete all tasks efficiently.
- Monitoring guest satisfaction with food and service.
- Responding promptly to guest requests.
- Maintaining proper dining experiences, including delivering food, refilling utensils, and offering desserts and drinks.
- Properly opening and pouring wine at the table.
- Adhering to grooming and appearance standards.
- Understanding and communicating the products and services offered by the hotel.
- Assisting in other restaurant areas such as answering phones and handling financial transactions.
- Printing closing reports and managing cash drops with the Front Office.
- Tallying credit card settlements and closing shifts on POS terminals.
- Following hygiene and HACCP standards and SOPs.
- Performing other assigned tasks.
Requirements
- Excellent communication skills in English, both written and verbal.
- Trustworthy with attention to detail and high accuracy.
- Proactive, energetic, and positive attitude.
- Ability to multi-task and prioritize effectively.
- Knowledge of the outlet's products/items.
- Proficiency in Micros system.
