We are looking for enthusiastic Waiters/Waitresses with experience in serving alcoholic beverages to join our team. As a Waiter/Waitress, you will play a key role in providing exceptional dining service, ensuring guests enjoy a memorable experience from start to finish.
Your responsibilities will include taking orders, serving food and beverages, making recommendations, and ensuring compliance with responsible alcohol service standards. To succeed in this role, you should have excellent communication skills, a strong knowledge of food and beverages (including wines, spirits, and cocktails), and the ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment.
Ultimately, you will deliver professional service that enhances guest satisfaction and reflects our high standards of hospitality.
Responsibilities
- Greet and guide guests to their tables in a friendly and professional manner
- Present menus and provide detailed information when asked (e.g., about ingredients, allergies, or food pairings)
- Take food and beverage orders accurately and enter them into the POS system
- Serve food and alcoholic/non-alcoholic beverages in line with company and safety standards
- Provide recommendations and upsell beverages, including wines, cocktails, and specialty drinks
- Ensure compliance with responsible alcohol service regulations at all times
- Check guests’ identification when necessary to verify age requirements
- Communicate with kitchen staff and bartenders to ensure timely and accurate order delivery
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of tables, dining area, and service stations
- Handle guest complaints or requests promptly and professionally
- Process payments and issue bills accurately
- Work as part of a team to ensure smooth service operations
Qualifications
- Proven work experience as a Waiter/Waitress or similar customer service role
- Previous experience in serving alcoholic beverages (wine, cocktails, spirits) required
- Strong knowledge of responsible alcohol service standards and practices
- Excellent communication, interpersonal, and customer service skills
- Ability to work efficiently under pressure in a fast-paced environment
- Strong multitasking and organizational skills
- Professional appearance with a positive and welcoming attitude
- Flexibility to work shifts, including evenings, weekends, and holidays
- Basic math skills and familiarity with POS systems
- Food safety and responsible alcohol service certifications (e.g., HACCP, TIPS, or equivalent) are an advantage
- High school diploma or equivalent; additional training in hospitality is a plus
- Proficiency in English; additional languages are an asset
