About The Job

Based at Mandarin Oriental Downtown, Dubai, within the Breakfast Restaurant, as a Waiter/ess, you will provide exceptional guest experiences during breakfast service, including taking orders, serving food and beverages, and ensuring high standards of service. You will report to the F&B Supervisor.

Responsibilities

• Maintain knowledge of the menu and beverage options, offering suggestions and answering guest questions.
• Take accurate orders, communicate clearly with kitchen and bar staff, and deliver orders promptly.
• Address special requests or dietary needs professionally, informing management and kitchen staff as needed.
• Provide attentive, personalized service to guests.
• Set up banquet spaces according to specifications, ensuring a clean and inviting environment.
• Create memorable moments to delight guests, following MOHG Legendary Quality Experiences (LQES).

Candidate Requirements

• High School qualification or equivalent; a Degree or higher diploma in Hospitality/Hotel/Business Management is a plus.
• At least 2 years experience as a Waiter/ess, preferably in a high-volume restaurant or luxury hotel.
• Strong English communication skills; additional languages like Arabic are a plus.
• Knowledge of dining service procedures and familiarity with POS and cashiering systems.
• Excellent interpersonal skills and understanding of service flow.
• Physical ability to stand for long periods and flexibility to work various shifts, including evenings, weekends, and holidays.
