Job description

Truly memorable restaurant and bar experiences don’t just come from delicious dishes, fine dining and exquisite ambiance. Which is why we’re searching for a new Bar / Restaurant Waiter / Waitress confident in delivering unforgettable experiences through a warm welcome, inspired recommendations and seamless service from starter to dessert and beyond.


Your day to day

Every day is different, but you’ll mostly be:

  1. Taking food and beverage orders from guests and delivering food to guests promptly after preparation.
  2. Providing immediate attention to all guests upon seating.
  3. Preparing tables by setting up linens, silverware and glasses.
  4. Up-selling additional products when appropriate.
  5. Providing every guest in the restaurant with full attention, reception and best possible care.
  6. Being thoroughly familiar with the sales program and constantly informed on all promotions, novelties and changes in the sales program.
  7. Maintaining good communication between bar staff and building a disciplined, well-harmonizing team, especially in view of:
  • Strictly following the beverage preparation and presentation standards, service standards, closing and opening checklists, and following billing and cashiering procedures, cleaning checklists.
  • Performing special duties and projects as assigned by the restaurant manager.
  • Being familiar with local food hygiene and HACCP guidelines as per Dubai Municipality.

  • What we need from you

    The strength to lift, push and pull big objects up to 50lbs (23 kg) which can also involve bending and kneeling.
    A good grasp of reading, writing and basic math.
    The flexibility to work night, weekend, and holiday shifts.
    Compliance with local laws on food handling and serving alcohol; you’ll need to be above the minimum age required and fluent in the local language.
    Great communication; you’ll be warm, welcoming, and easy to talk to.

    Kicking off truly memorable guest experiences with the warmest of welcomes.
    Acknowledging IHG Rewards Club members and returning guests in person or over the phone.
    Taking, managing, and receiving payments for guest bookings.
    Making the check-in and check-out process feel swift and seamless.
    Staying one step ahead of our guests’ needs to anticipate requests and offer tailored recommendations.
    Being our guests’ trusted contact, helping with everything from bill issues to restaurant recommendations.

    Language Proficiency: Communicate effectively with Russian-speaking guests to provide personalized service and enhance guest satisfaction.
