Platform Overview:
Group Finance is responsible for the Business Planning, Governance & Reporting of all financial activities across Mubadala in addition specialist teams manage Treasury, Investor Relations and Performance Management, all transactional finance is outsourced to Mubadala BMS.
We ensure that all financial information and activity in Mubadala is accurate and compliant with legislation and industry standards.
What Will You Do
- The role is to serve as a dedicated fixed income trader supporting the execution of liquidity portfolios, with a primary focus on short-duration money market and fixed income instruments.
- In addition to trade execution, the individual is expected to apply deep market expertise and technical insight to enhance execution quality and support investment decision-making, in close collaboration with Portfolio Managers, Credit Analysts, and other stakeholders. All activity should be carried out in line with internal governance and dealing parameters. The role also involves identifying market opportunities, navigating liquidity cycles, and leveraging dealer relationships to inform strategy, while contributing to the continuous development and future readiness of the trading function.
What Will You Bring
- Bachelor degree in a numerate discipline such as: Finance, Mathematics, Engineering, Actuarial Science or equivalent.
- Preferably, a Master degree from an internationally recognised university or a relevant professional qualification such as CFA, ACT, FRM, PRM
- Minimum 10 years of relevant experience within a multinational organisation.
- Expert-level understanding of global capital markets, with a particular focus on fixed income and money market instruments.
- Deep knowledge of trading practices, market structure, and transacting in fixed income securities across primary and secondary markets.
- Demonstrated ability to lead and advise cross-functional teams through complex financial transactions and market events.
- Familiarity with debt capital market products at the local, regional, and global level including instruments such as CDs, CPs, FRNs, T-Bills, corporate bonds, and sovereign/quasi-sovereign issuance.
- Strong understanding of financial derivatives and their use in liquidity and risk management.
- Proven ability to negotiate, influence, and communicate effectively across internal and external stakeholders, including portfolio managers and financial institutions.
- Strong relationship management skills and a track record of working collaboratively with internal investment teams and external counterparties.
- Understanding of Mubadala Investment Company’s global operations and demonstrated ability to adapt quickly to complex institutional frameworks and multi-geography investment mandates.
