A leading engineering firm in Dubai is seeking a dynamic Vice President of Supply Chain to optimize procurement processes, align supply chain strategies with financial goals, and lead a high-performing team. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in supply chain management and strong financial acumen, with a commitment to Emiratization initiatives.
Our client—a leading engineering firm—seeks a dynamic Vice President of Supply Chain to own and optimize end-to-end procurement and contracting processes. You will partner closely with Finance and senior leadership to align supply chain strategy with financial objectives, Emiratization goals and long-term sustainability plans.
Key Responsibilities
Develop and implement supply chain strategies that support financial targets, business objectives and Emiratization initiatives
Collaborate with executive leadership on growth, stability and sustainability projects
Build and sustain strategic relationships with suppliers, vendors and partners for reliable, cost-effective sourcing
Serve as the central liaison between Supply Chain and other business units to ensure seamless collaboration
Lead, coach and inspire a high-performing supply chain team, fostering continuous improvement and operational excellence
Identify and mitigate risks (e.g., disruptions, regulatory compliance, financial impacts) across the supply chain
Champion best practices and innovative solutions to drive efficiency and competitive advantage
Oversee budgeting, forecasting and financial planning for the supply chain function
Prepare and present performance reports, financial analyses and strategic recommendations to the executive team
Ensure training and development programs equip team members with the necessary technical and behavioral skills
Embed corporate excellence, sustainability and institutional standards within all supply chain activities
Guide annual operational planning in line with the organisation’s strategic roadmap
Requirements
To be considered for this role, you need to meet the following criteria :
Emirati national (only)
Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain Management, Logistics, Business Administration, Engineering or related discipline (Master’s preferred)
12 + years of progressive supply chain experience, including 5 + years in a senior leadership role
Proven track record in contracts & procurement within a large, complex organisation (utilities, energy or engineering sector preferred)
Strong financial acumen with experience in budgeting, forecasting and P&L oversight
Excellent stakeholder management, negotiation and communication skills
Demonstrated ability to lead change, manage risk and deliver innovative supply-chain solutions
