Job summary

Client of Betting Jobs in the United Arab Emirates seeks a senior regulatory compliance professional to lead supervision of gaming operators in Abu Dhabi. You will design risk-based supervision frameworks, conduct inspections, analyze KPIs, and prepare reports for senior management and regulators.

You will collaborate with law enforcement, other regulators, and industry associations, provide input on standards, and contribute to gaming regulations and guidelines.

Qualifications

• Extensive experience in regulatory compliance or supervision within gaming or related regulatory bodies.
• Strong knowledge of gaming laws, regulations, and industry standards.
• Bachelor's or Master's degree in law, business, or public administration.
• Familiarity with supervision frameworks, methodologies, and risk-based approaches.
• Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making skills.
• Effective leadership and team management abilities.
• Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills to engage with diverse stakeholders.
• Professional certifications related to regulatory compliance or supervision (e.g., CRCM, CGCS) desirable.

Responsibilities

• Develop and implement a comprehensive supervision strategy aligned with the objectives and priorities
• Establish risk-based supervision frameworks and methodologies to effectively monitor and evaluate gaming operators and licensees
• Conduct regular inspections and assessments of gaming establishments to assess their adherence to regulatory requirements
• Establish robust monitoring systems and processes to track the activities of gaming operators and licensees
• Identify areas of non-compliance and develop recommendations for corrective actions or enforcement measures
• Analyze data and key performance indicators to identify trends anomalies and potential risks to the integrity of the gaming industry
• Prepare comprehensive reports and documentation to communicate findings, observations, and recommendations to senior management and regulatory authorities
• Collaborate with external stakeholders including other regulatory agencies law enforcement authorities and industry associations to share information best practices and coordinate efforts
• Provide input on regulatory requirements standards and best practices to enhance the effectiveness of the regulatory framework
• And contribute to the development and revision of gaming regulations policies and guidelines
