Overview

Opportunity to join a leading BESS company as Sales Director, or VP, based on experience. In this role you will cover area of Middle East or Central Asia (Kazakhstan, Kyrgyzstan, Tajikistan, Turkmenistan, Uzbekistan).

The successful candidate will be responsible for developing and executing business strategies, driving sales growth, and leading the regional business development team to achieve ambitious targets.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and implement a comprehensive business strategy for BESS in the region.
  • Lead, motivate, and manage the business development team to deliver on sales objectives.
  • Identify, pursue, and secure new business opportunities with utilities, developers, EPCs, and government entities.
  • Build and maintain strong client relationships across Central Asia and the Middle East.
  • Monitor market trends, competitive landscape, and regulatory developments to adapt strategies accordingly.
  • Collaborate with internal teams (technical, product, and marketing) to align on solutions and proposals.
Requirements
  • Proven and recent track record of successful BESS sales in either Central Asia or the Middle East.
  • Strong network and business connections within the energy sector in the region.
  • Experience leading sales teams and achieving multi-million-dollar sales targets.
  • Strategic thinker with excellent negotiation and deal-closing skills.
  • Ability to work independently and travel extensively across assigned territories.
  • Fluency in English; knowledge of Russian, Arabic, or local languages is an advantage.
