You will be the single contact for government and private sector clients, ensuring alignment with national priorities and risk controls.

The role requires close collaboration with risk, operations, and senior bankers, contributing to a strong deal pipeline and protecting EDB’s reputational value.

Aufgaben

• Originates and executes transactions across EDB’s five priority sectors and manages client relationships through the project lifecycle.
• Acts as the single point of contact for government and private sector clients during the project lifecycle.
• Implement EDB’s value‑proposition for government and private sector clients in line with national priorities.
• Engage with risk and operations to ensure transaction delivery across the project lifecycle.
• Maintain, develop, and originate relationships with government and private sector clients throughout the project lifecycle.
• Create strong UAE brand awareness to position EDB as a preferred advisor for financial/business transactions.
• Develop EDB’s Pitch-book with Head of Originations to maintain a healthy pipeline.
• Join deal teams led by senior bankers for larger deals and manage simpler deals with support.
• Ensure client interests are protected and clearly highlight benefits and risks.
• Protect EDB’s reputational risk and ensure transactions add financial and reputational value.
• Build relationships with government and private sector stakeholders across the five priority sectors.
• Support Head of Project and Corporate Finance in reviewing the financing portfolio per credit/risk policies.
• Liaise with operations to ensure client service delivery metrics meet objectives; escalate deviations.
• Assist in facilitating partnerships and roadshows/investor meetings with government sector.
• Ensure timely preparation and submission of client reports to relevant departments.
• Evaluate initial viability of projects against eligibility criteria and recommend sector-specific consultants if needed.
• Engage with operational departments during the project and develop loan review documentation.
• Ensure all client activities comply with AML and Regulatory requirements.
• Support senior management in capital mobilization committees on project progress.
• Attend weekly review meetings and escalate exceptions.
• Respond to audit, compliance, and regulator inquiries with prepared responses.
