Job description

VP Oracle Business Systems – Healthcare Group

VP Oracle Business Systems will be joining a large Healthcare group to lead the management, optimization, and strategic implementation of Oracle Cloud systems.

This role will oversee the end-to-end administration of Oracle Cloud platforms, ensuring seamless integration with healthcare operations, compliance with industry regulations and alignment with organizational goals. This role will manage a team of technical professionals, collaborate with cross-functional stakeholders, and drive the adoption of cloud-based solutions to enhance patient care, operational efficiency, and data security.

Key Responsibilities :

Strategic Leadership :

  • Develop and execute the strategic roadmap for Oracle SaaS initiatives aligned with the company's overall business objectives.
  • Provide visionary leadership to drive innovation, efficiency, and scalability in SaaS operations.
  • Enable Digitalisation and AI enabled initiatives for Oracle cloud systems.

Team Management :

  • Lead, mentor, and manage a high-performing team of professionals responsible for Oracle SaaS development, deployment, and support.
  • Foster a collaborative and inclusive team culture that encourages growth and development.

Development and Implementation :

  • Oversee the design, development, and implementation of Oracle Systems solutions, ensuring they meet business requirements and industry standards.
  • Ensure timely delivery of projects within budget and scope.

Operational Excellence :

  • Establish and monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) to track the success and efficiency of SaaS operations.
  • Implement best practices and continuous improvement initiatives to enhance service delivery and operational performance.

Compliance and Security :

  • Ensure all Oracle SaaS solutions comply with relevant regulatory requirements and industry standards.
  • Oversee the implementation of robust security measures to protect data and maintain system integrity.
  • Manage the budget for Oracle SaaS initiatives, ensuring cost-effective use of resources.
  • Identify opportunities for cost savings and operational efficiencies.

Vendor and Partner Relations :

  • Manage relationships with Oracle and other technology vendors, ensuring effective collaboration and alignment with business goals.
  • Negotiate contracts and agreements to secure favorable terms and conditions.

Key Requirements :

  • Some experience in mature markets (UK / US / Canada / Australia) is highly preferred.
  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Business Administration, or a related field. MBA or relevant advanced degree preferred.
  • 15+ years of experience in enterprise systems leadership, with at least 10 years focused on Oracle solutions.
  • Proven track record of leading large-scale Oracle implementations in healthcare or regulated industries.
  • Strong understanding of healthcare or other regulated industries operations, finance, HR, and supply chain processes, Oracle Cloud (ERP, EPM, HCM, SCM).
  • Experience with healthcare-specific ERP integrations (e.g., Insta, Cerner) and knowledge of healthcare-related regulatory compliance is preferred.
  • Proven track record of managing multi-million-dollar IT projects.
  • Leadership and stakeholder management skills with experience in managing cross-functional teams.
  • In-depth understanding of IT security, compliance, and risk management.
  • Demonstrated ability to manage complex projects and lead cross-functional teams.
  • Proficiency in budget management and financial acumen.
  • Strong leadership and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build and motivate dynamic teams and collaborate with diverse stakeholders.
