Role Summary :

The Vice President of Artificial Intelligence and Data will drive the development and execution of enterprise-wide AI and data strategies. This executive leader will be responsible for integrating advanced AI technologies and robust data frameworks to support innovation, operational efficiency, and strategic decision-making. The role involves overseeing AI and data initiatives, ensuring best-in-class data management practices, and building a high-performance team aligned with business objectives.

Key Responsibilities :

• Develop and execute a company-wide AI and data strategy aligned with business goals.
• Prioritize and manage a portfolio of AI and data initiatives that deliver measurable impact.
• Ensure strategic alignment between AI / data efforts and the broader technology roadmap.

Leadership & Team Development

Build and lead a high-performing AI and data organization.

Attract, retain, and develop top talent across data science, analytics, and engineering disciplines.

Establish and maintain best practices for AI deployment and data management.

Data Governance & Compliance

Oversee data quality, security, privacy, and compliance across the organization.

Implement governance frameworks to ensure data consistency, reliability, and ethical use.

Stay current with regulatory developments and ensure proactive compliance.

Lead the delivery of AI and data projects, managing resources, budgets, and timelines.

Provide executive updates on progress, outcomes, and strategic value.

Optimize allocation of resources to maximize business value.

Business Partnership & Enablement

Partner with key stakeholders across departments to understand business needs and align AI / data strategies accordingly.

Support functions like Sales, Marketing, and Operations with data-driven insights.

Ensure clear communication of project outcomes and business impact.

Monitor AI, ML, and data analytics trends to identify new opportunities for business adoption.

Foster a culture of experimentation, learning, and innovation across the organization.

Qualifications : Education

Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Data Science, Information Technology, or a related field.

Advanced degree (e.g., MSc, MBA) in AI, Data Science, or a related discipline preferred.

Experience

15+ years of relevant experience in AI, data, or analytics, with 5+ years in senior leadership.

Proven track record of leading successful AI and data transformation initiatives.

Extensive experience with enterprise data governance, privacy, and security.

Deep understanding of AI, ML, data science, and modern analytics tools and frameworks.

Strong leadership and team-building capabilities.

Excellent communication skills, with the ability to translate technical solutions into business value.

Solid experience in project and portfolio management.

Familiarity with data privacy laws, regulations, and ethical AI practices.
