The VP- Corporate Strategy and Transformation will lead the development and execution of the organization’s strategic initiatives, driving transformation efforts to ensure long-term growth, operational efficiency, and the realization of organizational goals.
Roles and Responsibility :
Strategic Leadership :
Lead the development and execution of the company’s overall strategy, working closely with the leadership team to align strategic initiatives with organizational goals.
Identify emerging market trends, competitive threats, and growth opportunities to shape and drive business strategy.
Artificial Intelligence & Emerging Technology Strategy:
Stay abreast of AI, data, and emerging technology trends and assess their impact on business models and industry dynamics.
Work with relevant business units to identify high-impact AI use cases across the organization and it's subsidiaries
Contribute to the evaluation of partnerships and vendors in the AI and digital innovation ecosystem, shaping a future-proof technology strategy.
Mergers, Acquisitions & Strategic Investments:
Manage strategic assessments of potential M&A opportunities, including market sizing, synergy analysis, and deal rationale.
Oversee commercial due diligence, integration planning, and execution in collaboration with finance, legal, and business units.
Support the development of an M&A and investment policy focused on building a strategic portfolio
Track and evaluate post-merger integration performance, driving accountability and realization of projected value.
Transformation Oversight :
Spearhead large-scale transformation initiatives across the organization to improve performance, drive innovation, and optimize processes.
Identify inefficiencies and areas for improvement across business functions, leading initiatives to streamline operations and enhance productivity.
Manage organizational change processes, ensuring the smooth implementation of new systems, processes, and practices.
Stakeholder Management :
Work with executive leadership, department heads, and other key stakeholders to communicate strategic initiatives and transformation projects.
Act as the primary point of contact for key external partners, consultants, and stakeholders involved in strategic or transformation initiatives.
Present progress reports and updates to the executive team and board, ensuring transparency and alignment on key projects.
Talent Development and Team Leadership:
Build and lead a high-performing strategy and transformation team, providing mentorship and development opportunities.
Collaborate with HR to ensure that the talent management strategy aligns with strategic and transformation goals.
Foster an inclusive, collaborative environment that encourages innovation, accountability, and results.
