Job summary

Blu Selection is assisting a premier buy-side M&A boutique in identifying a VP of Corporate M&A in Dubai. You will drive a billion-euro global acquisition program end-to-end, partnering directly with C-level executives and the Founding Partner.

The ideal candidate has 5–10 years in Corporate M&A / in-house buy-side, a track record of closing 3–5 acquisitions, and fluency in English and French. Dubai residency is highly preferred.

Our client is a premier, exclusive buy-side M&A boutique. Originally headquartered in Europe, the firm is rapidly expanding its global footprint by opening strategic hubs in iconic international cities, including Dubai. They currently pilot the exclusive global external growth program for their primary client, a hyper‑growth, globally recognized technology group.

Following a highly successful Phase 1 (7 completed acquisitions generating €300M in acquired revenue), the group is now launching an aggressive Phase 2 (2027–2029). This ambitious roadmap targets an additional €770M in acquired revenue across five strategic pillars.

The Role

This is a highly strategic, entrepreneurial position that goes far beyond standard deal execution. As VP of Corporate M&A, you will drive this billion‑euro global acquisition program end‑to‑end, partnering directly with C‑level executives and the Founding Partner.

Key Responsibilities

• Strategy & Roadmap: Translate the five strategic growth pillars into actionable, highly targeted acquisition pipelines.
• Proprietary Origination: Build and nurture direct, trusted relationships with target founders and shareholders, while strategically leveraging a network of boutique investment banks.
• Execution & Closing: Lead comprehensive financial evaluations, complex modeling, and LOI/SPA negotiations, driving the full transaction lifecycle through to a successful closing.
• Coordination: Direct cross‑border Due Diligence workstreams (managing external legal counsels and financial auditors) and seamlessly handle multiple international transactions simultaneously.

The Ideal Profile

• Specific Background: 5 to 10 years of experience exclusively in Corporate M&A / in‑house Buy‑Side roles, ideally within a group driven by an aggressive buy‑and‑build strategy. Please note: We are strictly seeking pure Corporate M&A professionals; candidates from advisory or traditional investment banking backgrounds will not be considered.
• Track Record: A proven, demonstrable history of successfully closing 3 to 5 acquisitions from sourcing to completion (A to Z).
• Mindset: A seasoned dealmaker with a highly entrepreneurial spirit, completely comfortable negotiating directly with self‑made founders and business owners.
• Language & Demographics: Fully bilingual in English and French. The absolute ideal candidate is already a long‑term, established resident of Dubai, offering both cultural alignment and local market stability.
