Job summary

First Abu Dhabi Bank (FAB) seeks a strategic Vice President and Head of Climate & Nature Risk to lead the design, implementation, and continuous enhancement of the bank's climate and nature risk framework across groups, ensuring identification, measurement and management of physical, transition and nature-related risks.

You will own methodologies, models, scenario analysis, stress testing, and their integration into ICAAP, risk appetite and business strategy, collaborating with regulators,

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in a relevant field (finance, economics, data science, environment)
• 10+ years in banking/financial services with climate/nature risk focus
• Experience in risk modelling, scenario analysis and stress testing
• Hands-on data analytics using Python/R/SQL and Excel

Responsibilities

• Lead the design, implementation and enhancement of climate and nature risk framework across FAB
• Oversee development of risk methodologies, models, and stress testing
• Embed climate risk into ICAAP, risk appetite and strategic planning
• Collaborate with regulators, data vendors and ESG teams and report to senior management
