Job summary

Al-Futtaim Automotive – FAMCO is seeking an experienced Field Service Technician in Dubai, UAE to maintain and repair Volvo Construction Equipment at customer sites. You will diagnose hydraulic, electrical, engine, and transmission issues while delivering high-quality service and ensuring safety standards.

The role requires 3–5 years of field service experience, a Diploma or Bachelor’s in Engineering, and a valid UAE driving license.

Qualifications

• Diploma or degree in engineering is required.
• 3–5 years of field service, maintenance, or repair experience with heavy equipment.
• Experience with Volvo Construction Equipment is strongly preferred.

Responsibilities

• Carry out maintenance, inspection, troubleshooting, and repair of Volvo construction equipment at customer locations.
• Remove, install, dismantle, and assemble major components including engines, transmissions, axles.
• Diagnose hydraulic, electrical, engine, and transmission issues and perform repairs.
• Read and interpret technical manuals, schematics, and service documentation.
• Provide field service support across Dubai and the UAE and communicate findings to customers.
