Key Responsibilities:
- Assist staff in preparing, organizing, and tracking incoming ROI requests.
- Verify the accuracy and completeness of ROI documentation (e.g., patient identifiers, valid signatures).
- Assist with responding to routine inquiries related to the status of medical record requests.
- Help prepare requested medical records for release under supervision.
- Maintain strict confidentiality and compliance with organizational policies.
- Help patient submit online medical records requests through SEHA portal, offering guidance as needed
Qualifications
- High school diploma or current student (preferably in healthcare, HIM, or legal studies).
- Interest in medical records, privacy laws, or healthcare compliance.
- Familiarity with basic computer use and office software.
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
- Ability to maintain discretion and handle sensitive information.
Time Commitment
- Volunteer hours typically available Monday through Friday from 10am to 4pm
