Summary: The Visual Merchandising Manager proactively oversees and manages the execution of deliverables throughout all project phases, coordinating with internal and external teams globally and domestically to mitigate roadblocks and ensure successful delivery.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

  1. The Visual Merchandising Manager leverages broad expertise to develop and lead complex projects from inception through implementation and deployment.
  2. Acts as the main point of contact and leader for all regional projects from ideation to execution.
  3. Facilitates discussions, decision-making, and conflict resolution with suppliers and retailers for each project.
  4. Leads internal and external communications across teams in the Middle East, India, Africa, Southeast Asia, and Australia.
  5. Manages a variety of projects including:
  • Store fit management (permanent and temporary)
  • Pop-up and window display management
  • Animation management
  • New product launch coordination
  • In-store merchandising and POS
  • Maintenance reporting across stores

Requirements:

  1. Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  2. Strong critical-thinking, decision-making, and problem-solving skills.
  3. Ability to work independently and within a team environment.
  4. Senior-level understanding of process and project management, including familiarity with project management tools.
  5. Experience managing cross-functional, globally distributed teams and multi-disciplinary projects, primarily between Dubai and Australia.
  6. Proficiency in developing and maintaining detailed project plans, organizing tasks, and tracking dependencies.
  7. Understanding of technical build and production processes to support design and delivery functions.
  8. Ability to quickly assimilate information and gauge its impact on projects.
  9. Proactive in identifying issues and providing timely resolutions.
  10. Capability to suggest and implement process improvements.
  11. Adaptability and tolerance for high-stress situations, with leadership qualities to resolve conflicts and guide teams.
  12. Adherence to departmental processes, with input on best practices and procedural improvements.
