About the Role

The Visitor Services Ticketing Host is responsible for warmly welcoming visitors and providing information, services, and tickets to ensure an enjoyable museum visit.

Responsibilities

  • Greet visitors with a smile, using Emirati greetings, and create a welcoming atmosphere.
  • Assist at the Information point with inquiries about the museum, facilities, events, local area, transport, and other DCT attractions.
  • Sell tickets, memberships, products, and services for ZNM.
  • Handle cash accurately and perform reconciliation.
  • Respond to incoming calls and emails professionally.
  • Record and respond to feedback according to policy.
  • Assist with Membership inquiries.
  • Upsell and cross-sell products and services.
  • Be knowledgeable about ZNM policies, exhibitions, upcoming events, and DCT sites.
  • Support People of Determination services to ensure accessibility for all visitors.
  • Coordinate group bookings and guide groups through the museum.
  • Act as a Gallery Assistant or Welcome Host as needed.
  • Meet visitors expecting ZNM staff and coordinate their arrival.
  • Scan tickets and resolve ticketing issues.
  • Maintain a positive, dependable, punctual attitude and be a team player.
  • Seek opportunities to enhance the visitor experience.
  • Perform other duties as assigned by Visitor Services supervisors.

Required Experience

  • Fluent in Arabic and English (spoken and written).

Preferred Experience

  • Additional language skills are advantageous.
  • Experience in museums or tourist attractions.

Education/Qualifications

  • High school diploma; a degree in tourism, history, art, museum studies, or hospitality is preferred.
