Job summary

HSBC Holdings plc in Dubai seeks Head of Valuation in Resolution (ViR) and Scenario Analysis for MENAT to provide insight and decision support across resolution planning, stress testing and climate scenario analysis. You’ll partner with Group and regional stakeholders to deliver timely quantitative analysis in a fast-paced, highly governed environment.

Qualifications

• Must hold a UAE visa/work permit eligible degree.
• Knowledge of ViR and RAF frameworks is essential.
• Deep knowledge of stress testing and economics in bank management.
• Strong capital and liquidity management understanding.
• Demonstrated ability to produce analysis and QA over outputs.
• Ability to advise on risk and establish effective control framework.
• Excellent communication with senior management and regulators.

Responsibilities

• Oversee MENAT ViR coordination and timely submissions.
• Execute Valuation 2 and 3 runbooks for attestation to BoE and local regulators.
• Provide financial information and forward-looking analysis to support the Regional CFO.
• Own economic valuation review and forward-looking financials for restructuring actions.
• Set scenario design across forecasting and stress testing activity.
• Partner with Risk, Finance and Business to identify vulnerabilities in MENAT model.
• Deliver end-to-end quantitative stress testing across Group exercises.
• Present scenarios and actions to senior forums and regulators.
• Prepare regulatory submissions and recovery plan materials.
