Job Description:

The Volunteer for International Experience (VIE) is a unique international program sponsored by the French Ministry of Economy Finance and Employment open to Airbus to offer young professionals the opportunity to have valuable paid work experience abroad in a technical or business function.

The VIE is a specific contract under Business Frances eligibility criteria.

VIE Main Requirements:

European Union citizens (plus Norway Iceland Liechtenstein and Monaco) graduates up to and including 28 years old

Have fulfilled military obligations for their country if any

The contract duration of VIE is between 12 to 24 months.

A VIE to support External Affairs in Africa and the Middle East has arisen within Airbus in Dubai. It will cover Airbus Commercial Helicopters and Defence and Space. You will join the International Department reporting to the Regional External Affairs Director who is responsible for institutional relations geopolitical strategy and sustainability advocacy across Africa and the Middle East.

Tasks & accountabilities:

• Monitoring of risks and opportunities for Airbus export campaigns across the region gathering information on geopolitics and regional market trends communalities evolutions disruptions and competitors;
• Coordination of relevant actions to support the implementation of business development strategies at regional level and country level;
• Consolidation of monthly briefs and ad-hoc updates;
• Drafting of Country Briefs for meetings between representatives of Airbus founding nations (France Germany Spain UK) and relevant authorities across the region in support of Airbus export campaigns;
• Preparation execution and evaluation of relevant activities required by the Regional External Affairs Director;
• Mapping of think-tanks and participation in policy events of interest for Airbus export campaigns across the region.

This role may involve some travel for business in the Africa & Middle East region.

Un poste de VIE en soutien aux Affaires Extérieures pour lAfrique et le Moyen-Orient est à pourvoir au sein dAirbus à Dubaï. Vous rejoindrez le Département International sous la responsabilité du Directeur Régional des Affaires Extérieures qui est en charge des relations institutionnelles de la stratégie géopolitique et de la promotion du développement durable en Afrique et au Moyen-Orient.

Missions et responsabilités :

• Suivi des risques et opportunités pour les campagnes dexportation dAirbus dans la région collecte dinformations sur la géopolitique et les tendances du marché régional les points communs les évolutions les disruptions et les concurrents ;
• Coordination des actions pertinentes pour soutenir la mise en œuvre des stratégies de développement commercial aux niveaux régional et national ;
• Consolidation des notes dinformation mensuelles et des mises à jour ponctuelles ;
• Rédaction de notes de synthèse par pays pour les réunions entre les représentants des nations fondatrices dAirbus (France Allemagne Espagne Royaume-Uni) et les autorités compétentes de la région en soutien aux campagnes dexportation dAirbus ;
• Préparation exécution et évaluation des activités requises par le Directeur Régional des Affaires Extérieures ;
• Cartographie des think-tanks et participation à des événements politiques dintérêt pour les campagnes dexportation dAirbus dans la région.

Ce rôle peut impliquer des déplacements professionnels dans la région Afrique et Moyen-Orient.

Compétences requises:

• Diplôme universitaire en commerce relations internationales ou dans une discipline connexe ;
• Excellentes compétences en communication et présentation en anglais ; larabe est un plus
