THE ROLE

Part of the Abu Dhabi Regional Office Commercial Team and reporting to the Marketing Manager, you will be working to standardize and track commercial activities for the DRO. The role will facilitate analysis of the following responsibility to enable growth strategy for the region, covering the Middle East, Indian Sub-Continent, Indian Ocean Islands, Southern & Eastern Africa.

WHAT ARE YOU GOING TO DO?

As a VIE Marketing Officer in the Abu Dhabi Regional Office, you will be responsible for:

1. Developing templates and tracking country forecasts and action plans.
2. Working on performance tracking at Country, Branch, Account, and Trade level.
3. Managing and monitoring the commercial performances of assigned accounts and segments of customers.
4. Helping prepare market studies and performing other tasks as required by Management.
5. Communicating the commercial directions to the network and ensuring correct application.
6. Tracking and reporting of Sales activities and quality of data input for pre/post sales calls.

WHO ARE WE LOOKING FOR?

• In accordance with the provisions of Article L122-1 of the French National Service Code, only candidates aged between 18 and 28 who are European nationals will be eligible for this VIE assignment.
• You have a postgraduate degree (5/6 years) in a commercial/business development role and ideally have previous experience in Marketing, Sales, or Business Development.
• You speak English fluently, have strong skills in Microsoft applications, and you are able to help facilitate easy-to-use dashboards. You also have very good presentation skills. A first experience or strong interest in the Shipping industry would be an asset.
• You are autonomous, a good team player, and will be working closely with different departments in HO, RO, and the subsidiaries. Good social and interpersonal skills will also allow you to fully succeed in this mission.
