The Videographer & Editor for #ABtalks plays a critical role in producing high-quality multimedia content that drives engagement and supports the department's goals. This includes contributing to viewership growth, cost efficiency, and the successful launch of key initiatives such as the membership program.

Key Responsibilities

  1. Content Production
  • Shoot, edit, and create compelling content for multiple social media platforms, including YouTube, Instagram, TikTok, Snapchat, LinkedIn, Facebook, and Twitter.
  • Deliver high-quality visual content that supports a 10% quarterly increase in viewership and a 15% month-over-month growth.
  • Develop innovative formats and visuals to maintain #ABtalks' cutting-edge appeal and audience interest.
  • Perform advanced video editing, including color correction, sound mixing, and motion graphics, to ensure professional-quality outputs.
  • Manage multiple video projects simultaneously, ensuring deadlines are met and deliverables align with brand standards.
  • Attend brainstorming sessions and contribute ideas to align content with #ABtalks' tone and vision.
  • Collaborate with the Show Director and Digital Media team to execute weekly content plans.
  • Ensure all content supports the successful promotion of the membership program and sponsorship deliverables.
  1. Technical Excellence
  • Oversee the technical aspects of video editing, including asset management, archiving, and file optimization for different platforms.
  • Coordinate with technical teams to ensure smooth execution of shoots and post-production workflows.
  • Utilize in-house resources effectively to reduce reliance on outsourcing, contributing to an annual AED 100,000 reduction in service costs.
  • Optimize production processes to improve efficiency while maintaining quality.
  1. Trend Monitoring and Innovation
  • Stay updated on industry trends, emerging platforms, and competitor activities to ensure content remains relevant and innovative.
  • Experiment with new content formats to expand audience reach and engagement.
  1. Quality Control
  • Ensure all content aligns with #ABtalks brand guidelines, is error-free, and meets the highest quality standards.
  • Review final outputs to ensure consistency and technical accuracy.

Skills & Qualifications

  • Proven experience in video production and editing, with a strong portfolio of high-quality work.
  • Expertise in Adobe Creative Suite (Premiere Pro, After Effects, Photoshop) or similar tools.
  • Strong understanding of social media platforms and content optimization techniques.
