Job summary

Wynn Al Marjan Island is seeking a Show Operator Assistant Video - Theater Operations to join the resort's Theater Operations team. The role supports the Head Lighting & Video in supervising staff, training new hires, and maintaining video systems for performances.

Candidates should have at least five years of experience in a similar role, strong leadership, and excellent problem-solving skills, with OSHA/IOSH certifications preferred. The position is based on site in Ras Al Khaimah, UAE.

Qualifications

• Must have a high school diploma or equivalent.
• At least five years’ experience as Assistant Head of Video for large productions.
• Experience with a wide range of modern theatrical video systems.
• Ability to manage staff and perform under pressure, and to coordinate logistics.
• Highly organized and capable of working in a stressful environment.
• Strong problem-solving skills and teamwork.

Responsibilities

• Assist the Head Lighting & Video - Theater Operations with supervising department staff and training new employees.
• Help manage staff training records and timekeeping; assist with scheduling.
• Assist with inventory, supplies, and cost-effective video solutions.
• Support safe, consistent operation of video systems for rehearsals and performances.
• Assist with show cues and coordination with the Resident Director - Theater Operations.
• Provide oversight to ensure a safe environment and proper maintenance records.
• Collaborate with manufacturers for updates and repairs; help document specifications.
