Video Editor

We are seeking a highly skilled and creative Video Editor to produce high-quality video content that aligns with our brand vision. The ideal candidate should have a strong passion for storytelling, excellent editing skills, and a deep understanding of video production techniques. As a Video Editor, you will work closely with the marketing and content teams to create engaging promotional videos, social media content, corporate videos, and other multimedia projects. You should be detail-oriented, able to manage multiple projects, and stay updated with the latest trends in video editing and post-production.

Responsibilities:

1. Edit and assemble raw footage into polished and engaging videos for various platforms.
2. Add visual effects, sound effects, transitions, and animations to enhance video content.
3. Collaborate with creative teams to understand project requirements and develop compelling narratives.
4. Ensure videos are optimized for different platforms, including social media, websites, and advertising campaigns.
5. Maintain brand consistency in video content through color grading, typography, and overall style.
6. Manage video assets, including organizing footage and maintaining a well-structured content library.
7. Stay updated with the latest video editing trends, tools, and techniques.
8. Work with motion graphics designers to create animated elements when needed.
9. Assist in shooting and directing video content when necessary.
10. Ensure timely delivery of high-quality videos that meet business objectives.

Requirements:

1. Bachelor's degree in film production, media studies, communications, or a related field.
2. Minimum 2-4 years of experience in video editing and post-production.
3. Proficiency in editing software such as Adobe Premiere Pro, After Effects, Final Cut Pro, and DaVinci Resolve.
4. Strong understanding of color correction, audio mixing, and motion graphics.
5. Experience in editing various types of content, including commercials, corporate videos, and social media content.
6. Ability to work under tight deadlines and manage multiple projects simultaneously.
7. Excellent storytelling skills and a keen eye for detail.
8. Familiarity with camera operations and cinematography principles is a plus.
9. Strong communication and teamwork skills.
10. Portfolio or demo reel showcasing previous video editing work.
