We are seeking a talented and creative Remote Video Editor to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong passion for storytelling through video, exceptional attention to detail, and the ability to meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment. You will be responsible for editing video content for various platforms, including social media and marketing campaigns.

Key Responsibilities :

• Edit raw video footage into polished, high-quality videos that align with project objectives.
• Collaborate with the creative and marketing teams to understand video requirements and creative direction.
• Apply creative video effects, transitions, animations, and graphics.
• Enhance audio quality, synchronize sound, and add appropriate music and sound effects.
• Color correct and grade footage to ensure visual consistency.
• Optimize videos for different platforms and formats (e.g., YouTube, Instagram, Facebook, TikTok).
• Manage and organize video files, ensuring easy retrieval and workflow efficiency.
• Stay updated on industry trends, techniques, and tools for video editing.

Requirements :

• Proven experience as a video editor with a strong portfolio showcasing previous work.

Proficiency in video editing software such as Final Cut, Adobe Premiere Pro, and After Effects (this is a must-have).

• Familiarity with motion graphics and animation is a plus.
• Strong understanding of video formats, codecs, and file management.
• Ability to work independently and meet deadlines while managing multiple projects.
• Excellent communication skills for collaborating with remote teams.
• Strong attention to detail, creativity, and storytelling ability.
• Experience in sound design and color grading is a plus.
